Processing Green Coffee Beans the Old Fashioned Way

During our visit to the coffee growing region of Cavite, we visited the farm, observed the drying process, and now we observe how the dried beans are processed to extract the green coffee bean.

This process involves all hand work and it’s very tedious but it’s the only way small farmers are able to process their own beans. Larger farms and commercial growers take their crops to be processed by commercial businesses.
